Why the volume of a bubble is increase when it rises above from the bottom of a pond?

this is not true because due to refraction the bubble seems to be small I. bottom of pond but actually it is as same size ..

As the bubble rise, the external pressure due to water decreases and the bubble expands.

Guptasumit: Yaa the value of pressure at the bottom is maximum..
Guptasumit: And at the top it is only atmospheric pressure acting..so decrease pressure results in larger volume...thats simple
