Why the walls of ventricles are thicker than the walls of atria?

Explanation:

➡The blood is pumped out in the heart at a very high speed or pressure in ventricle as compared to atria.

●Ventricle have thick walls because it have to pump blood in whole body.

The atria or auricle have to pump blood to the organ that's why it need less pressure.

●Even right ventricle pumps blood to the lungs needed to be of very low pressure to prevent any type of damage.

Following diagram shows pressure in different part of hearts.
