why the work done by centripetal force is zero ?

we know that , work done = F.s , this means work done is zerowhen force(F) and displacement (s) is at 90 degree angle. so from above figure , it is clear that force and path of motion i.e . displacement is at 90 degree.hence, the workdone by centripetal force is zero.HOPE IT HELPS
