Why there are only four or five trophic levels in a food chain?

Hello,

We know that only about 10% energy gets transferred as we go up a food chain. Hence if there were many trophic levels in a food chain, the top most occupier will get very less energy.

Also the biomagnification increases as we from one tropic level to another. Therefore if there were many level the highest level will have a high amount of toxic materials.
