Answer:

Segregation of the 2 types of wastes (biodegradable and non-biodegradable) is important. This is because biodegradable wastes can be used to make orgainic manure. Also, some of the non-biodegradable wastes can be recycled or upcycled.

hope it helps :)

Answer:

We need to segregate waste to dispose them off properly.

To ensure their proper disposal wastes are generally segregated into two types based on their decomposition which are : Biodegradable and Non Biodegradable wastes.

Biodegradable Wastes

These wates easily undergo decomposition and can be disposed off into land fills .

These wastes majorly include Kitchen wastes such as Vegetable peels , egg shells etc.

Non Biodegradable Wastes

These wastes cannot be decomposed and therefore need a proper disposable system.

These wastes are usually toxic and can cause various diseases and pollute the environment.

Some example include Electronic waste, Radioactive waste , Biomedical wastes etc.
