Modern farming makes the work of the farmer more easier. But the capital is high because of the set up, the chemical fertilizers & pesticides are costly as they are made through artificial & synthetic substances. The machines used such as tractors, harvestors, ploughers, threshers, etc. make the job more easier for the farmers but they have to spend quite a lot of money to buy these machineries.
The small farmers take a loan from the high and medium farmers with a very high interest. Not only this, they've to work in the high & medium farmer's field during the harvest season for which they get a small wage.
