Explain why if we touch the test tube immediately after carrying out the neutralization reaction of an acid and a base in it,it is found to be somewhat hot.

Every neutralisation reaction is exothermic in nature i.e, it releases a tremendous amount of heat. When an acid reacts with a base, it produces its salt and the H+ of acid and OH- of base combine to form water which releases heat
