Why there is no atmosphere in space present on earth.

Earth as we know it has a magnetic field around it which tends to pull the particles and materials towards it which is also known as the gravitational pull of Earth.

The air molecules that pass through this gravitational pull tends to get attracted towards Earth and stay as it is, while the gases or the molecules of gases that stay in space are free to move around anywhere they like, without the need to stop at one place hence there is no mixture of gases staying in one place in space denying at the presence of atmosphere.

On earth the gravitational pull makes the molecules of gases get pulled towards the earth and stay there thereby making a layer of gases covering the Earth surface which is known as atmosphere. The presence of this layer around the earth is very important as it obstructs the undesirable radiations from entering the atmosphere and reaching the earth.
