why there is no exchange energy in d6 configuration? Dont they have 4 unpaired electrons and 5 parallel spinned electrons? ​

in d6 configuration out of 6 four electrons are unpaired so they cannot exchange their position until any of the strong field ligands approaches that is why there is no loss of exchange of energy


anlinajesin: There is one anti parallel and 5 parallel spinned electrons. So why cant these 5 parallel electrons exchange their positions? Doesnt it work like that?
