No, there isn’t sound in space, and it’s impossible to hear anything. That’s because sound needs a medium to propagate, and even to exist. Sound is a compression wave. It means that you need something that can be compressed in order to hear anything. When you speak on the Earth (surrounded by air), your vocal chords vibrate, and compress the air in your throat creating a wave. This wave travels into the air thanks to bounces between the molecules until it reaches a ear, and its eardrum. Space is in vacuum: there are just few particles per cubic meter. In such a small amount it’s impossible for them to bounce, and transmit the sound wave.

Because sound needs a medium to travel like air, water, gas etc. But in space there is Vaccum and sound cannot travel in Vaccum.
