Why there is thoracoabdominal respiration in females?

Females have thoracicoabdominal breathing pattern… it is mainly due to the fat distribution over the abdomen n chest region… n their intercostals are stronger than their diaphragm…
Females have smaller lungs in comparison to males of the similar age…(approximately 10–12% smaller) … they have smaller radial dimensions of their rib cage…it should be the main reason for their thoracicoabdominal breathing pattern…which is quite different from males….
(I don't know anything about the norms of quora…actually I used to go through all the questions n their respective answers given by all the readers…I'm just a student of biology…I knew the reason for the subject matter of this question…many a times I've noticed many questions of my subjects n interests…but this is the first time…I'm answering a question…so please correct me if I'm wrong at any point… I've written whatever I knew about this fact…
