In southern hemisphere there are found coniferous but maximum of them are in warmer climates.  

In the southern hemisphere and in altitudes where Taiga biome is found means 45° to 70° latitude.  

Earth is mostly covered with Oceans and that's the reason that no Taiga biome is found on the southern hemisphere.
