Answer :

The nucleus is  a dense, spherical or oval organelle. In a young cell, they occupies a central position in cell. And, in the mature plant cell along with the formation of the vacuole, it is shifted to one side. And, a single nucleus in each cell us present, but some of the cells may have more than one nucleus.

The nucleus is wn  surrounded by the double membrane , which is called the nuclear envelope, which separates it from the cytoplasm surrounded.

There is a colourless dense sap present inside that nuclear membrane, which is known as nuclear sap, karyolymph or nucleoplasm. The main function of the nucleus is the storehouse of genes. Genes are responsible for controlling the production of enzymes without which there cannot be any metabolic activity.
