Why traechea dont collapse even in the absence of air?

They don't collapse because of incomplete(dorsally) cartilaginous rings( they are C shaped) in the trachea. Obviously, it will prevent the collapse in the absence of air...

Trachea does not collapse because it has a support of cartilageous rings .
