transition element shows variable valencies also they have d-shell so they combine with more element to form alloy.

transition metal form large number of alys. the transition metal are quiet similar in size and therefore the atom of the one metal can substitute atom of other metal in the crystal lattice. Thus, on calling a mixture solution of two or more transition metal, solid alloy are formed.
