As they are in inertia of rest.. When an opposite force acts on it, Then they will get disturbed and they move and bend freely

Tree branches consist of meristamatic tissue that allows the branches of the tree to move or bend
When wind blows through them... the are easily bended
When wind blows through them... the are easily bended
