the rise of a communist government in Vietnam would lead to a domino effect and communist governments will get established in other parts of asia.The US did not want this!

actually the fact that seeing communalism taking power in vietnam would also inspire other communities to form communist governments.T hus communists government would spread like a domino!

and why us did that??...Ok i am not exactly sure but US wanted to establish its supermacy all over and that was probably the reason US also esatblished Democracy in Iraq too by killing Saddam Hussein.
