why uranium, atomic mass 238,atomic no-92 don't undergo fission

There is 3 isotopes of uranium
U 234, u 235 u238
Nuclear fission done by u 235 by add one extra neutron
U235+1n => Ba142+kr91 +3 n1
And then 3 new neutrons react with u235 and this creat a chain reaction

U235 can decay after absorbing a very low energy
but U238 needs a large energy to decay, so that a chain reaction used U235,
