The biofertilizers are preferred over chemical fertilizers because they are very safe and do not contain any harmful chemicals.
On the other hand, chemical fertilizers can cause pollution of water as well as land. They can cause Biological magnification in which they will move around our ecosystem causing harm to the members of the ecosystem.

Chemical Fertilizers
They are artificially prepared fertilizers which are prepared in laboratories which contain toxic chemicals which is harmful for you and your health whereas bio fertilizers are harmless the reason they are preffered over chemical fertilizers.
