Fleming's left hand rule is used in motors to determine the direction of rotation of the conductor when we know the direction of the magnetic field and the direction of current through the conductors. Also Fleming Left Hand rule is mainly applicable for motor and Fleming Right Hand rule is mainly applicable for electric generator. which is why we cannot use the same rule

Explanation:
If we use right hand to find the direction of the force on a current carrying conductor in a magnetic field then the direction of the force obtained will be opposite to that given by Fleming's left hand rule. Then by applying Fleming's left hand rule the direction of the force will be outwards.
