Why Valentine's is celebrated? Watz d history behind it? Sorry 4 d irrelevant question but I wanna know

We do know that the ancient Romanscelebrated the feast of Lupercalia, a spring festival, on the 15th of February. With the introduction of Christianity, the holiday moved to the 14th of February--the saint day thatcelebrated several early Christian martyrs named Valentine.

Valentine day has been came from ancient Romans who celebrate feast of lupercalia means this day America started to celebrate as love and friendship day. So this spread world wide and celebrated as Valentines day.
