why veins appear to bluish green? but actually it is bright red!

blood is always red ,veins look blue because the light has to penetrate the skin to eliminate them blue and red light (being of different wavelengths) penetrate with different degrees of success. what makes it back to your eye is blue light.

Because veins absorbs all the light but only reflects Green and blue light that is why veins appear to bluish green but actually it is bright red.
