Why Venus is the hottest planet in univers but mercury is the nearest planet from sun?​

Because Venus has no greenhouse gases in it atmosphere and its atmosphere also very thick. When heat from the sun enters Venus, that heat cannot escape because of the thickness of its atmosphere

Venus is the hottest planet than Mercury even Mercury is very nearest to the Sun. This is because, in Venus, there are many harmful gases like:- SO2, CO2 in very huge amount. These gases traps the sunlight and heat coming from the Sun. That's why Venus is so hotter than Mercury.
