Most of the time the molecules in gas are flying free through the void.
when temperature is increased the collision of the molecules increase which decreases the ability of the molecules as a whole to engage in the co-ordinated move.
So, when the gas gets hotter they get thicker.
The viscosity of the gas increases as temperature Increases as is approximately proportional to the square root of temperature.
