why vitamins and minerals do not require any enzyme to digest them?plzzzz giv gve the ans fast....

Vitamins and minerals are not broken down further in our digestive system unlike the other nutrients like the proteins broken down into amino acids.
Minerals, vitamins and water are already small enough to be absorbed by the body without being broken down, so they are not digested.
Mostly vitamins and minerals are absorbed in the small intestine.This is why there is no need of any enzymes in the process of their digestion.
