Why voltmeter has the highest resistance on vedas connected in parallel?

✔✔ If it were a low resistance, the circuit under test may pass current through the voltmeter, changing the voltage between those two points and therefore voltmeter reading,
✔✔ Because the circuit has changed by connection of the voltmeter.
✔✔ I.E the voltmeter becomes a resistance in parallel with the source resistance.
