farm workers get the lower wages than the maximum wages fixed by their government.
the minimum wages for a labourer is Rs 115 per day
but farm workers get only Rs 70 - 80
this happens because of heavy competition for work done with in the farm labourers.

Hello friend

The maximum wage fixed by the government for a farm labourer is Rs 60 per day , farm labourers in palampur get paid much less , about 35 to 40 rupees per day . the reason for this is the competition for work among the agricultural labourers in the village knowing that supply is more than the demand , they themselves agree to work for wages that are lower than minimum wages .
