Dhumaketu's "The Letter", is a story of a father's affection for his daughter. On the last day of his visit to the Post Office, Ali seemed agitated because he knew his end was near. Thus, all he wanted to hear was his name being called out, so that he would finally get a letter from Miriam. Nevertheless, his wish would go unfulfilled, because Miriam's letter would only arrive after his death. His agitation was due to the fact that his father's soul was not getting any respite.
