- Barasat Revolt was founded by Mir Nisar Ali popularly known as Titumir on 1831. This movement was started in Narkelberia village in Barasat, in Kolkata.
This Revolt was mainly against the Exploitation of the Zamindars and the European Indigo planters.
Its main aim was to make the country free.
