Lord Curzon partitioned West Bengal to stop the rising of the national movement but he told everyone that West Bengal is very big to control as a whole so we should divide into east Bengal and West Bengal . But this partition did not bring any different between Hindus and Muslims and the uprising of the revolt has not stopped .It encouraged the people to participate in the national movement.
