Darjeeling is famous destination in india. Darjeeling have famous toy train and rank 1 in best toy train in India (kalka to Shimla ranked 2) this destination is famous for its beautiful sceneries. it is a mountain area. Darjeeling is also liked internationally also. many tourism come there from international making it is as major tourism places of India. its train is also a world heritage site.

  • Lepchas were the So, Darjeeling means the land of thunderbolt. After the defeat of Gokhale's in Anglo-Nepal war that took place in 1814, Nepal had to lose this land to east-India company.
  • Darjeeling is famous for tea plantation around the world and is called as the queen of hills.
  • Beautiful view of mountain ‘Kanchenjunga’ can be seen from there. First train station was also started from there by east-India company because of the suitable environment.
