Even Madikeri CMC reserved land for the monument construction. Now the government has sanctioned an additional amount of Rs 8 lakh and so the monument will be constructed with a fund of Rs 13 lakh,” he informed and added that Madikeri CMC too has reserved Rs 25 lakh for the same purpose. He assured that monument will be inaugurated before October 30, 2011.
