The main reason why Hyder Ali came to power as he was a student of warfare. Mughal Cavalry was also not as good as him in a small band of a flintlock. So, Hyder Ali realized that and began to procure weaponry of European. He was a negative politician and erupted intra-Mysore battles and thus became the ruler of Mysore.
