why was it essential for the conspirators to include Brutus in the consiracy?

It is easy for the conspirators in the senate to assassin Caesar easily if Brutus joins in. Brutus is someone that Caesar trusts so much so he wouldn't really know that Brutus backstabbed him. So, Cassius turned Brutus against Caesar. That's the reason why Caesar says,"et tu Brute? then Caesar shall fall." He says this before he dies. This means that 'Even you Brutus? If even the one that I trusted the most wants to backstab me, then Caesar shouldn't be alive.'
