They abandoned the translation because one they were not interested. Very few Indians were willing to read the novels that had been translated from Indian language to the English language. The translation was abit difficult because the few to participated in translating knew little English they were not conversant with the all English making it difficult to translate. Parents were against since they wanted their children to learn they traditional language
