Non-Cooperation movement was started in 1920 because at the same time Khilafat Movement was also started. ... Non-cooperation Movement was Non-violence movement but in Chauri -Chaura violence was occurred. In which 3 people were killed and 22 police were killed, due to which Gandhiji announced to stop this movement.
