Guha was kept at a marriage hall near the Adugodi police station here before being released at 4 pm.
“I was just holding a peaceful protest and was speaking about the Gandhian ideas of India and pluralism that we practice. All of a sudden, I was picked up by the police and taken to a convention hall with 10-15 others who can’t be identified as nationals or anti-nationals by their dress. No explanation was given. As abruptly I was arrested, I was abruptly released after 4-5 hours,” said Guha after his release.
