The Rio Summit was held from 3 june 1992 to 14 june 1992

After the cold war, the development process of the world was deliberate

the main reason why this summit held was to promote:

1. Sustainable development: The development which is conducted without depletion of natural resources

2. To find alternatives of the fossil fuels

3. Save water i.e. limited supply of water

4. Limited production of toxic substances like lead etc. 

5. New way of public transportation
