Saint Peter was weary and famished,as he had no food .He asked the woman for some cakes, but she refused saying that the cakes were too big for him to eat. This angered Saint Peter, who changed this woman into a woodpecker with a Scarlett cap.

I strongly support the act of Saint Peter because one should always help a old, weary person who is in need for something.....

The little woman was too greedy and selfish. For her to eat the cakes were small but to give that cake to the fainting Saint Peter it were too large.

Saint Peter grew angry with this action of the woman. And he had to forcefully curse her as she provoked him to do so.

Yes, Saint Peter did the right thing by cursing her as she was getting to selfish for just a single piece of cake.
