Answer:
A BLACKSMITH from the Moorlands has been recognised for his work in the community at an awards evening. Jim Plant from Cheadle has been a metalworker since 1974 and has contributed many pieces of architecture to the town over the years. He was presented with the Business Contribution to Volunteering Award in honour of his contributions at the Staffordshire Moorlands Volunteer Awards 2019 held at Westwood Golf Club in Leek, recently. The awards are hosted by Support Staffordshire.
