Why was the duck astonished to see the kangaroo hopping?

The duck was astonished to see the kangaroo hopping because the duck couldn't hop like the kangaroo as the duck's legs were not suitable for hopping.

the duck was astonished bcoz the kangaroo can hop , jump in the fields, in the water too and she says that it seems that he will never stop hopping as his life is not boring like the duck , she has to always stay in the nasty pond , she cannot come out from the pond and can see the outer world like kangaroo , she says that hope she can hop like kangaroo , her life is boring , as she has to say in one place only , she always wonder change
