The environment in the early period was quite good because of dearth of technology. Humans didn't know anything about technology and they did whatever they wanted without harming the nature because they weren't that developed to invent new resources if some of them got exhausted. But as soon as technology appeared and humans became more advanced,nature starting going into danger.
Modernisation of the human beings led to the establishment of factories and Industries. Humans gradually started becoming selfish.
Now as we all know, only for human needs,trees are cut,industrial waste is released into the water bodies without any treatment,resources aren't conserved and used carelessly.
Due to a lot of pollution,global warming has become a threat to our planet. Deforestation is leading to the displacement of tribals living in those forests and many species of animals are getting extinct. Overuse of chemical fertilisers,insecticides and pesticides is leading to infertility of arable land.
Use of plastic without being cautious and burning it is leading to air pollution and various respiratory problems.
Due to global warming,glaciers as melting and sea level is rising hence causimg floods in many areas.
