Why was the need to write scientific names for organisms?

We may call any particular organism in India will be different from the name of any other country.So,to understand in both places ,we use a common name.That is scientific name.So,there was a need to write scientific names for organisms.

It's very important to keep the scientific names of different organisms bcoz there are lakhs of organism found in and across the world......and the scientist whosoever have discovered it will name the organism according to himself.......so just think one organism with many different names will create confusion....so for the ease they were scientific names alloted.....and is known by the same name all over the world without any confusion.......
