Why was the prison of Bastille attacked? (Very Short Answer)-Class 9

Answer:

The Bastille Prison was stormed on 14th of July, 1789. The Bastille was a prison-fortress used by the King of France (Louis 16). The main reason for this attack was that the common people wanted to reach out and take away the ammunition (weapons) that were believed to have been stored there.
