Ambedkar was the greatest feminist of his days. He played an active role in fighting for the rights of women playing a huge role in passing the Hindu Marriage Act and Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act  which calls for a legalized divorce for women and legalized adoption of the girl child.
Ambedkar rejected the (in)famous Aryan-Dravidian theory that portrays Brahmins and upper-castes as invaders in his book- Who were the Shudras?. So people who propagate half-baked myths and 'theories' about Aryan invasions and abuse Brahmins must do an introspection.
He wanted to sponsor Sanskrit as the official language of the Indian union.

He strongly opposed Article 370 of the Indian constitution which gives special status to the state of Jammu & Kashmir- not exactly an achievement but his views.
