Usha was an 11 year old girl with dark hair and rosy cheeks. She had a brother named Suresh.

Suresh was Usha's brother. Binya was usha's friend who was slightly older than her and was helping when they were trying to lay down clothes to dry on a low stone wall putting a stone on each piece.
