Prometheus was a kind man and he wanted to give fire to Mankind as they were living their life as beasts. He wanted to give them fire so that they could atleast warm themselves , cook their food and build themselves houses .

Prometheus asked to Jupiter to give them fire but he refused. Prometheus left the company of the gods as he had set his heart on helping Mankind. When Prometheus gave Mankind fire , Jupiter saw it and was angry with Prometheus
