Why water doesn"t catch fire ? even though it has hydrogen,which is a good fuel and oxygen which supports fire.

in prensce of oxygen the fire can done and the prensce of good fuel fire can done but when their is hydrogen the fire will blow oit

Water does not actually burn because to have a fire we need a fuel, oxygen and heat. It is true that oxygen and hydrogen can both be burnt. But when they come together they form a new molecule and it consist of different properties. Instead Water takes away the heat and separates the fire from oxygen therefore putting the fire out.
