Why water is liquid at room temperature?

hey dear...!!

At room temperature (anywhere from zero degree centigrade to 100 degrees centigrade), water is found in a liquidstate. This is because of the tiny, weak hydrogen bonds which, in their billions, hold water molecules together for small fractions of a second.

Helloo

Water is liquid at room temperature because of having a strong permanent dipole. As you said known as hydrogen bonding. The electrons are closer to oxygen than they are to hydrogen thus creating this partial positive and negative dipole.


Duue to the following reasons ::

1. Molecules are closer together

2. Contains London dispersion forces

3. Has a low Vapor pressure because of hydrogen bonding
