Ethyle alcohol is miscible in water

Ethyle alcohol is polar because of its Hydroxyl group. And as ethyle alcohol is polar like water it dissolve easily in water

water is polar compound and theehlyl alchol C2H5OH as it contain OH compound which is the reason for polarity so it is miscible in water
